RCI Doors™ offers SafeDoorPM with all its newly installed Commercial Overhead Doors, Rolling Steel Doors, High Speed Doors, and Dock Levelers and also offers this service to customers who wish to have inspection, planned maintenance and any needed repairs at the appropriate intervals.
The SafeDoorPM program provides routine maintenance beginning with the inspection of all parts of a Commercial Overhead Doors, Rolling Steel Doors, High Speed Doors, and Dock Levelers, so that all small or large problems are fixed before there is a failure. We adhere to manufacturing standards for your door and inspect at the right intervals. Notes and photos of the inspection are provided on the report you receive and are stored on our portal so you can login and review this information at any time. SafeDoorPM helps you meet OSHA standards and provides the records you may need if there is an accident.

ANNUAL FIRE DOOR INSPECTIONS
Why Fire Door Inspections Matter
Fire doors help protect your property and can save lives in the event of an emergency. Damaged or faulty fire doors can lead to devastating losses if an emergency occurs. As the owner or manager of a facility, it is your responsibility to ensure the safety of team members or guests. At RCI Doors™, our responsibility is to help you keep your fire doors in compliance with industry standards, and in turn, we can help you save lives.
For this reason, the National Fire Protection Association standard NFPA 80 requires business owners and property managers to have their rolling and sliding fire doors inspected and tested once a year, at minimum. Written documentation of these inspections and tests should also be kept.
At RCI Doors™, we are committed to the safety of our customers, and one of the most critical components of commercial door safety is fire doors. They are innovative and practical safety measures for your business.
We offer installation, inspection/testing, and service of fire doors. For each Fire Door Drop Test (FDDT) we perform (for any fire-rated door type), we follow a code-mandated inspection based on testing procedures rooted in NFPA-80 standards. This includes keeping written documentation of annual inspections and tests.

- Our expert technicians perform a visual and operational inspection, testing, and certification of your facility’s fire doors to keep you within the NFPA 80 requirements.
- If your doors are in compliance, we will attach a “Fire Door Certification Tag” to each fire door indicating the date the fire door was inspected, tested, and passed.
- A copy of your Rolling Fire Door Inspection and Drop Test results are kept in our company’s records in case of an emergency or if there are any questions regarding your compliance.
- As a courtesy, we will check in with you once a year to schedule your annual Rolling Fire Door Inspection and Drop Test service, so that your fire doors stay in compliance.

AAADM provides training on the standards required for safe and reliable installation and inspection of automatic doors. This ensures that each RCI Doors™ technician understands the latest standards for automatic pedestrian doors. They attend a 2-day course that includes hands-on, expert training and an exam to demonstrate their mastery of the standards.
